Hey everyone!
It’s been awhile since I’ve done a pattern roundup, and with our baby girl being due in just two months, I’ve been searching for some new baby clothes patterns to make. So far I’ve made a granny square sweater, a romper, a cardigan, a pair of sandals, a couple of beanies, and a handful of stuffed animals. This week I’m working on a doll with her own wardrobe!
I love crocheting clothes, but if I’m being real, sometimes I just don’t want to spend that much time on a project. Sometimes the most fun projects are the ones you can whip up in a day or two and then feel proud of. Instant gratification, right?
And that’s why I love making baby clothes so much! You get all the style of crochet clothes without the commitment of a long project that’s just going to sit and collect dust (speaking from experience lol!).
So I rounded up my five favorite baby dress (and romper!) patterns from my Pinterest board. Some of these are free and some are paid.
Let’s get into it!
5. Crochet Baby Boho Sundress (Free)

It’s right in the middle of sundress season! Why not make one for baby?
This dress is not only adorable and free but also super adjustable. The pattern designer offers different variations and instructions on how to make it for smaller and larger sizes.
While you’re there check out some of the other crochet patterns on her blog–all of them are free!

4. Crochet White Lily Baby Romper (Free)

I love a good crochet baby romper! This one is perfect for summer.
This pattern is super simple and cute, free, and comes in sizes 0-6 months to 24 months.
This site is a bit hard to navigate but you can find all kinds of free crochet patterns. Most of the patterns, like this romper, are free but you can pay to download an ad-free version.
Check out the free pattern here.
3. Crochet Baby or Girls’ Dress (Paid)

The detailed stitches in this adorable little baby dress are everything.
This is a paid pattern but well worth the price. It’s available from sizes newborn to 8 years old, and all of the patterns this designer writes are very detailed and well-written. I’ve bought several!

4. Crochet Chloe Baby Dress (Free)

This beautiful dress is definitely next on my list!
The pattern includes sizes from newborn to 8 years old so it’s super easy to adjust. Like the White Lily romper, it comes from a website where there’s a ton of free patterns if you don’t mind some ads, or if you prefer an ad-free version, you can pay to download one.

5. Crochet Baby Romper (Paid)

And finally, my favorite summer baby romper pattern!
This is another paid pattern from this Etsy shop, the same designer of this dress. I made one as part of a set that I’m planning to list in my Etsy shop pretty soon. It’s a very well-written and adjustable pattern, including sizes from newborn to 36 months.
Check out the paid pattern here.
That’s all for now!! Thanks for stopping by!
