Hey everyone!
Last week was super busy with orders so I’m finally getting around to posting! But I got them done and, as promised, I’m back with more patterns.
Stitch seems to be pretty popular right now and I was really excited when I got an order for a Stitch rearview mirror hanging toy a couple weeks ago. I’ve never made a Stitch before even though it’s been on my bucket list for awhile.
After a pretty thorough search, I wasn’t able to find any kind of pattern for the hanging toy, but I did find this adorable Stitch plushie pattern on Pinterest, so I just made it a bit smaller and ended up attaching a little swing to it. I was happy with how it turned out!

Unfortunately it did happen to be one of those videos on Pinterest where someone just took a screen recording of the actual pattern, so it wasn’t a written pattern, per se. I had to take screenshots of the video and work from those like with my Spider-Man pattern. Not sure why I have such bad luck just finding regular written patterns lol!

(By the way, he’s actually available in my Etsy shop if you’d like to purchase one.)
But without further ado, here is the video!
I’ve added the notes I took from the pattern down below as well as the materials I personally used.
Materials:
Less than 1 skein worsted weight cotton yarn in blue–I used maybe 50 yards (I personally love Lily Sugar ‘N Cream as it comes in a ton of different colors and it’s widely available in stores)
Less than 1 skein worsted weight cotton yarn in teal–I used maybe 25 yards (I personally love Lily Sugar ‘N Cream as it comes in a ton of different colors and it’s widely available in stores)
Less than 1 skein worsted weight cotton yarn in royal blue–I used maybe 10 yards (I personally love Lily Sugar ‘N Cream as it comes in a ton of different colors and it’s widely available in stores)
Less than 1 skein worsted weight cotton yarn in light pink–I used maybe 25 yards (I personally love Lily Sugar ‘N Cream as it comes in a ton of different colors and it’s widely available in stores)
3mm crochet hook (I used a 2.5mm to get mine smaller)
Stitch marker
Yarn needle
Small amount of black and white felt for the eyes
Polyester stuffing
Pattern notes:
-Pattern is worked in continuous rounds without joining so you may find it helpful to place a marker in the first stitch of every round.
-Cotton yarn works best because your stitches will work up much tighter and sturdier but you can use any yarn that you wish!
-Stuff each piece firmly but not too firm. You want each piece to hold its shape, but if you stuff too firmly, the stuffing will show through your stitches. I didn’t stuff the arms because they were so tiny and in my opinion they sit more naturally when they’re a little flatter, but feel free to stuff them if you wish!

And you’re finished!! If you have any issues with any of the pieces or their assembly, feel free to refer to my pictures or leave me a comment below and I’ll try my best to help!
